Whether you're a fan or not, AI is here to stay.
When you type something into AI, it gives you an answer. It's built to be helpful, and for plenty of things that's exactly what you want.
But because it's built to resolve things, it can close the loop on your questioning very quickly. It decides what's relevant and what isn't. It hands you the first stepping stone and makes it feel like the last one.
When you're working with your soul, your intuition, tarot, or the big questions about meaning, the first answer isn't always the one you need. The journey the questions take you on matters more than the conclusions you reach along the way.
What we'll get curious about
- What are we actually asking AI to do for us?
- What happens to discernment, intuition, meaning-making, and personal authority when another tool enters our practice?
- Can AI help with spiritual development and the big existential questions? Is it even capable of that?
These aren't small questions, and they don't have easy answers. We won't solve them in an hour. But we need to start having these conversations.
What this isn't
We're not going to spend an hour bashing AI, and we're not going to spend it fangirl-ing either.
We've been having this conversation for a while now, over cups of tea on Zoom. On September 23, we're pulling up a chair for you.

Debi Garrett is a Reiki Master Teacher, specialising in Usui Holy Fire Reiki. She is the Compliance Director for UK Reiki Federation, one of the largest professional Reiki bodies in the UK and Europe. She also works with Human Design, Tarot and the Akashic Records helping people remember who they are and what lights them up.
She is the author of three books including The Call of the Sacred Rebel, which reached #2 on Amazon's spiritual biographies list, where she shared her own story of sovereignty and personal revolution against the norms of society and her traditional upbringing. She is also an artist, a mum of two adult children, a devoted cat slave to her rescue cat Raven, and a long term volunteer with St John Ambulance NI.

Jessica Paschke is a certified equity-centered coach, intuitive teacher, and tarot practitioner who works with women in their WTF Era—that shift that happens in midlife when things are changing faster than we can keep up, the big existential questions are getting louder, and the old answers and approaches aren’t working like they used to.
Blending human-centered spirituality, tarot, and meaning-making, her work helps women understand what has influenced the way they see themselves and their lives, so they can decide what they want to keep, what they want to reimagine, and what they want to build based on who they are now and not a past version of themselves.
